Well, the last story was posted yesterday morning! I'm sad that it's over, but it's been a fantastic journey- there's such an incredible collection of high quality fiction and art- it's wonderful. I'm sorry I haven't been very active during the cup with recs and whatnot, but I'm ever so close to losing sanity. I mean, last week, I got a GI bug so badly, I ended up admitted on an IV drip and getting some shots and bloodwork. Bugs shouldn't be that bad- I put it down to my weakened immune system (can't really fix mine) and stress- in another week or so, things should be calming down and then I can breathe!

Today is your lucky day! Alright, maybe not as such, but my story has been posted at hd_worldcup . It's called Read my Mind and is meant to be ridiculously funny (I'll let you decide if it accomplished this task- I wrote it on little sleep and illness, so I cracked myself up more than it might do for you). Please read, vote, and let me know what you think (comments are love)!

Now, I need to also catch you up on Team EWE's wonderful entries. katerina_black drew a beautiful picture of our boys kissing (the colours are gorgeous). _aurora_sky_ drew a lovely piece that intertwined stories and leaves you with a lovely, heart-warming feeling. mayflo illustrated perfectly a story that fits with the music she chose so perfectly in her piece.

As for the writing since I last posted, well, there's a lot of great entries. aoifene wrote a story that provides a lot of angst- and happiness! It's really fantastic. ebilgatoloco also had an interesting piece that showed their transition from enemies to something more very well. abusing_sarcasm wrote a very cute and happy story, although poor Draco had to deal with her funnily obnoxious Harry.

allopen wrote the MOST amazing and incredible story EVER! Seriously, it gave me chills. If you haven't read it already, rush to do so now. supergreak wrote a cute story that gives us glimpses into our boys long and happy lives together- very lovely.el_em_en_oh_pee wrote a very thought provoking piece in an interesting style- it is very well done and flows perfectly. rockerchica826 used her prompt fantastically to write a hilarious look into what would happen if house elves were all liberated- don't miss this one! You'll regret it if you do! And finally, on Tuesday, drippingcherry wrote a cute story that was incredibly clever and so very cute! You won't be disappointed.

So I will post some more in the next couple days, but I wanted to make sure you all knew that my story was out and about all the great posts EWE has had since my last summary post!

Things have gotten absolutely insane for me recently, what with Palm Sunday this past weekend, and friends having crazy schemes they feel the need to drag me along with (not to mention exams and lab work)! Anyhow, I've been trying my best to keep up with the hd_worldcup . I'd like to encourage everyone to vote- voting is purely for watchers (and here's your super-important role as a watcher... you get to decide which team wins)! It doesn't take very long, and the works are all so fabulous, you'll enjoy them- really! I'd also recommend leaving comments for the stories you enjoy, as comments are love (who could deny anyone some love)?

Especially, please, read/look at the works for TEAM EWE!! Our team has put out a variety of showings so far, and I think that no matter what kinds of stories you like, you can find one or more to fit your tastes. ( EWE's fabulous art posted so far )

I can't wait to see what else is posted.  EVerything has just been so absolutely amazing so far!

There have been a lot of amazing stories at femmefest  so far, so if you haven't been keeping up, here are some that I would rec so far:

Watchers of the Skies Lily/Narcissa (R)- This is a gorgeous piece about a forbidden romance.  It's really touching and just- lovely.

Disorientation Katie/Angelina (R)- I'll warn here that there is some blatant cheating, but this is a very sexy piece with some characters I don't really think much about (but now definitely am).

Plans Minerva/Amelia (PG-PG-13)- This is somewhat heart-wrenching but very touching.  The ending took me aback, but I haven't been able to get the story out of my head (in a good way).  It's a lovely piece.

I suggest you check them all out though- so far they have all been fantastic!  Also, I am really excited that hd_worldcup  begins posting tomorrow!!  I am sure I will have some recs from that too that you can look forward to.

Just wanted to remind everyone that posting began at the femmefest  this morning!  You should get over there and read some of the amazing stories that will be posted.  One of them will be mine, though I obviously can't say more than that.  I'll try to rec my favourites from the fest here as it goes along.  Enjoy!

I want everyone to go and gush over the amazing painting leochi  made of me.  She's such a brilliant artist, and it's quite possibly the best I have ever looked.  I had a very long day today- about 12 hours of straight work, and I have to say that has definitely made my day, if not my week!  Anyhow, you can see it at her journal, here. (I just can't gush over it enough, so I would love you all to help me out!)

This will be my first fest, and I am very excited.  My teammates look amazing!  Go Team EWE!
